About Oaks buddies
We believe all children are made in God’s image, no matter their abilities, diagnosis, or other labels the world has given them. We believe that the Gospel is good news for every person without exception. For any child that may benefit from extra love and care, whether it is medical needs, behavioral needs, sensory needs, or one of the various other needs, they are so very welcome to join our family! We would be happy to provide your child with one of our amazing volunteer “buddies” to help with any additional needs, whether short-term or long-term, and be involved with their peers in our Oaks Kids classrooms.
Sunday Morning
Every week, we aim to come alongside you and your child. Each child will get paired with a buddy who will go with your child into their classroom. Our aim is to help your child grow in their discipleship and love for Christ.
About oaks buddies
Customized Care
We talk to you about your kid's needs: what helps them feel calm or safe, and strategies you use at home. Together, we make a plan to help your kid participate and engage as fully as possible.
One-on-one Buddy
In most cases, we pair one trained volunteer with every kid in need of support in an age-appropriate room.
